Rare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 10, October 2026.ABSTRACT Surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) has emerged as a highly sensitive and specific technique for tumor imaging, owing to its narrow spectral features, resistance to photobleaching, and capability for multiplexed detection. However, its clinical translation remains limited by poor tissue penetration and the absence of intrinsic anatomical ...

Rare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 10, October 2026.ABSTRACT A central challenge in high‐performance photoelectrochemical (PEC) systems is mitigating the intrinsic limitations in photogenerated carrier separation and transport, while enabling efficient broad‐spectrum solar harvesting. Inspired by the synergistic effect between plasmonic resonance and heterojunction built‐in electric fields, a ternary ...

Dimensional Assembly Engineering of Ce‐MOF Interfaces for Selective Recognition of Phytic Acid
Rare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 5, May 2026.ABSTRACT Selective molecular recognition is central to chemical sensing yet discriminating structurally similar molecules at complex interfaces remains challenging. Traditional strategies based on tuning size, charge, or binding‐site chemistry often suffer from limited flexibility.

Aspect Ratio‐Controlled Chiral Nanostructures for Dual‐Mode Breast Cancer Theranostics
Rare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 5, May 2026.ABSTRACT Chiral CdSe/CdS quantum dots (QDs) have emerged as promising platforms for precise cancer diagnosis and therapy due to their unique optical properties and biological interactions. In this study, we systematically investigated the role of aspect ratio (AR) modulation in ultrathin‐shelled chiral CdSe/CdS dot‐in‐rods (DRs) on their performance in
