野生动物学报, 2022 通过查验2018年11月以来在山西蟒河猕猴国家级自然保护区38个相机位点红外相机所拍摄的影像资料，发现该保护区有4个位点共4次记录了黄腹鼬（Mustela kathiah）的影像。经比较核查，确证黄腹鼬为山西省的新纪录物种，其分布北界扩展到了山西南太行山区域，刷新了该物种分布的最北界。

野生动物学报, 2021 白斑军舰鸟为鲣鸟目军舰鸟科大型热带海鸟，常见于中国南海、南沙群岛和西沙群岛，从未见在辽宁省等北方海域被发现过。2018年5月20日在喀左龙源湖湿地的天空中发现1只白斑军舰鸟，经查阅辽宁省鸟类分布相关文献资料发现，白斑军舰鸟在辽宁省属于分布新纪录，同时也成为白斑军舰鸟在中国最北端的最新发现记录。
