ABSTRACT The regeneration of osteoporotic bone defects is severely hampered by compromised endogenous healing capacity, demanding advanced strategies that actively orchestrate pro‐osteogenic microenvironments. Here, we report an integrated, self‐powered osteo‐regenerative system that uniquely leverages a dual ultrasound‐responsive piezoelectric ...

Insights Into the Temperature‐Dependent Oxidation Mechanism of Metallic Cerium in H2O‐N2 Atmospheres
ABSTRACT Metallic cerium (Ce), a widely used surrogate for actinide metals, enables mechanistic studies of reactions in complex gas environments under controlled and safer laboratory conditions. Here, the oxidation behavior of Ce in H2O‐N2 mixed atmospheres was investigated from 200°C to 350°C using in situ thermogravimetry–mass spectrometry, in situ X‐

ABSTRACT A facile coprecipitation‐pyrolysis strategy was employed to fabricate Cu/Co nanoparticles (NPs) embedded in nitrogen‐doped carbon matrices (Cu/Co@N‐C) through the carbonization of CuCo‐MOF precursors. Moreover, monometallic counterparts of Cu@N‐C and Co@N‐C were also prepared via carbonization of bimetallic CuZn‐MOF and CoZn‐MOF, respectively.

Efficient Photocatalytic Removal of Toluene by Synergistic FeCe/TiO2: Performance and Mechanism
ABSTRACT Efficient removal of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in confined spaces is crucial for environments such as spacecraft and deep‐sea submarines. Metal modification is an effective strategy to enhance the light absorption capacity of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and suppress the recombination of photogenerated charge carriers.

ABSTRACT The commercialization of lithium–sulfur batteries (Li–S batteries) has been hindered by the shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) and sluggish redox kinetics. In this study, we constructed a three‐dimensional hollow conductive network host material for sulfur with synergistic enhancement effects.

ABSTRACT Conventional lithium‐ion battery cathodes predominantly rely on reversible lithium intercalation in bulk, which inevitably induces phase transitions, transition metal migration, and voltage decay. Electrolytic anion adsorption pseudocapacitance provides a chance for bypassing these issues via a surface‐dominated reaction, especially in ...

ABSTRACT In Co‐based alloys, the γ phase is normally stable at high temperatures and the ε phase at low temperatures, and there is a martensitic transition on cooling to ∼417°C. In the γ/β dual‐phase CoCrAlY bond coat of turbine blade thermal barrier coating systems, we observed the opposite: γ remained stable at room temperature, yet it underwent a γ →

ABSTRACT Ultrathin, lightweight, and mechanically compliant electromagnetic interference (EMI) shields are increasingly required for high‐frequency electronic devices. However, conventional metallic shields predominantly rely on conductivity‐driven reflection mechanisms, which become ineffective at reduced thickness and may cause severe secondary ...
