本发明公开了一种制备锂离子电池用聚阴离子型正极材料的溶胶-凝胶方法。首先将锂盐、过渡金属盐、聚阴离子前驱物和碳源按照一定的化学计量比混合制成溶胶;然后在一定条件下加入有机环氧化物制成凝胶;经干燥、煅烧后制得最终产物—聚阴离子型正极材料。该方法简单、易操作;反应物混合更均匀,凝胶易形成;与固相合成法相比,降低了煅烧温度和煅烧时间;与其它溶胶-凝胶方法相比,该方法成胶快,合成时间大为缩短,适合工业化生产。利用该方法合成的聚阴离子型正极材料具有粒径小、分布均匀、比表面大等优点;特别是材料还具有良好的充放电性能、
