Malectin Alleviates Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus via Glycoprotein Quality Control Mechanisms

Malectin alleviates high glucose‐induced ER stress and damage in placental trophoblasts, a function dependent on its six critical carbohydrate‐binding residues. In a GDM mouse model, administration of TAT‐Malectin ameliorated hyperglycemia and placental ER stress and prevented fetal macrosomia.

SIRT6‐Mediated Deacetylation of ATF3 Promotes Silica‐Induced Lung Fibrosis by Enhancing its Nuclear Import via Binding to Importin α

SIRT6‐mediated ATF3 acetylation drives MGARP transcription and mitochondrial dysfunction in macrophages, promoting macrophage senescence and pulmonary fibrosis. Mechanistically, HSP70/Importin α competitively binds to ATF3, modulating its nuclear translocation.

Rare‐Earth Mediated Engineering in ZnSe@ZnS:Eu3+ to Simultaneously Achieve Structural Modulation and Atomic Eu Doping Sites for X‐Ray Imaging

A dual hard‐base anchoring strategy was developed to synthesize ZnSe@ZnS:Eu3+ quantum dots, leveraging fluoride‐oleylamine interactions to create surface atomic Eu doping sites. By precisely tuning temperature, Eu3+ concentration, and fluoride levels, we obtain morphologies ranging from tip growth to coupled flower‐like structures.

Prediction Model for Mild Cognitive Impairment in Older Chinese Patients With Cerebral Small Vessel Disease Based on XGBoost Algorithms and Shapley Additive Explanations

An interpretable XGBoost‐SHAP model predicted MoCA‐defined cognitive impairment in older patients with cerebral small vessel disease and identified reduced IGF‐1 as the leading predictor. The model showed strong validation performance and clinical utility, supporting early risk stratification.

Feasibility and Safety of Washed Microbiota Transplantation as Salvage Therapy for Refractory Non‐CDI Gut Pathogens in Critically Ill Patients

Ten patients with definite gut infection evidence beyond CDI underwent 29 WMT infusions. 50% (5/10) of patients obtained clinical cure after WMT. 20% (2/10) of patients achieved clinical improvement and 30% (3/10) showed no response 7 days after WMT. One transient WMT‐related fever occurred (1/29, 3.45%).
