Acceleration of Lactate Uptake and Utilization Contributes to Neuroprotective Action of FGF21 Involved in Naturally Aging Mice

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 3, March 2026.
The left panel shows cerebral lactate homeostasis in young mice. The middle panel displays accelerated ANLS rates due to FGF21 secretion in aging mice. The right panel demonstrates that lactate uptake and usage inhibition contribute to lactate extracellular accumulation, followed by HCA1‐mediated learning and memory decline in mice.

Transcription Factor TCF12‐Mediated Maternal Gene Expressions in Mouse Oocyte Are Prerequisites of Successful Fertilisation and Zygotic Genome Activation

open access: yesCell Proliferation, Volume 59, Issue 3, March 2026.
Maternal TCF12 ensures the competence of fertilisation by controlling the expression of Astl and the proper location of cortical granules. Furthermore, maternal TCF12 maintains the phosphatase activity of PP2A by regulating the expression of Arpp19. Oocyte‐specific deletion of Tcf12 leads to fertilisation defects as well as ZGA failure at the 2‐cell ...

Molecular Mechanisms of CLCN5 Missense Mutations in Dent Disease Type 1: A Comprehensive Computational Analysis and Clinical Correlations in a Chinese Cohort

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 6, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Dent's disease, an X‐linked recessive disorder predominantly affecting males, is characterized by nephrocalcinosis, nephrolithiasis, and a high risk of progression to end‐stage renal disease. Dent's disease type 1, accounting for 60% of cases, caused by mutations in the CLCN5 gene encoding the chloride ion channel protein ClC‐5, exhibits ...

GmMYB4 Positively Regulates Isoflavone Biosynthesis via the GmMAPK6‐GmMYB4‐MBW Module in Soybean

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 3, Page 1482-1499, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Isoflavones, a class of bioactive compounds predominantly found in leguminous plants, are largely responsible for their beneficial effects on human health. Although MYB transcription factors (TFs) are known to be crucial regulators of isoflavone biosynthesis in soybean, the precise mechanisms underlying their regulatory functions remain poorly

基于作物气候生产潜力的浙江省农用地分等方法研究

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2003
