焦化废水深度处理技术综述

open access: yesGongye shui chuli, 2017

Differences in characteristics between naturalized threatened plants and other threatened plants

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 40, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract Many non‐native plant species introduced by humans have become naturalized. At the same time many species are threatened in their native range. However, the number of plant species threatened in their native range that are naturalized elsewhere remains unknown.

Policy, Waste, and Power: Textile Dumping in Chile's Atacama Desert

open access: yesLatin American Policy, Volume 17, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Globally, 87% of textile fibers end up incinerated or in landfills, with Chile bearing the brunt of this crisis. Every year, 39,000 tons of discarded clothing are illegally dumped in the Atacama Desert, turning it into a sacrifice zone for the Global North's waste economy.

High‐Value Targeted Conversion of Copper Slag as LiFePO4 Material for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT The massive stockpiling of copper slag (CS) presents severe environmental and resource‐waste challenges. Existing strategies for CS valorization typically yield low‐value‐added products. Herein, we propose an innovative hierarchical regulation approach to transform CS into high‐performance LiFePO4 (LFP) cathode materials.

A Multifunctional MXene/CNF/PVB Fabric via Layer‐by‐Layer Construction for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding, Joule Heating, and Infrared Stealth

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT The rapid advancement of 5G communication technology has intensified electromagnetic pollution, creating an urgent demand for flexible multifunctional fabrics with efficient electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding performance. This study proposes a novel material‐stacked construction strategy to fabricate multifunctional MXene/cellulose ...

Mistimed surveys lead to underestimated migratory bird impacts from wind farms

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 63, Issue 4, April 2026.
Current guidance and approaches to surveying migratory birds at windfarm developments in Australia are insufficient. Evidence‐based alignment with seasonal presence is needed to improve biodiversity assessment standards, ensuring renewable energy expansion proceeds in a way that better safeguards migratory species and supports global biodiversity and ...

Genomic responses to increased temperature and pollinator selection in Brassica rapa L.

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 250, Issue 2, Page 1231-1247, April 2026.
Summary Rapid environmental change reshapes both abiotic stress and biotic interactions, yet it remains unclear how these combined forces structure plants' genomic adaptation. In particular, the joint influence of temperature and pollinator identity, two ecological axes undergoing simultaneous global shifts, has rarely been quantified at genomic ...

Deeper sociological insight needed for behaviour change: A systematic review of Chinese ivory consumption

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 8, Issue 2, Page 270-282, February 2026.
Abstract Chinese consumer demand for ivory threatens vulnerable African elephant populations, despite long‐standing efforts to combat the illegal wildlife trade. Behavioural science approaches have been proposed to address these systemic behaviours. However, their robust use remains uncommon in demand management interventions.

Lipid Nanoparticles Delivering ClpP‐mRNA Suppress Pyroptosis and Senescence in Intervertebral Disc Degeneration via mTOR/BNIP3‐Activated Mitophagy

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) is a predominant cause of low back pain, significantly impacting quality of life. Mitochondrial fitness is essential in the progression of IDD, as it regulates cellular senescence and pyroptosis. This study investigates the role of mitochondrial caseinolytic protease P (ClpP) in alleviating senescence and

Robust metrics for quantifying and comparing resistance and recovery in experimental studies

open access: yesMethods in Ecology and Evolution, Volume 17, Issue 1, Page 6-14, January 2026.
Abstract Various indices have been developed to experimentally quantify resistance and recovery (two components of engineering resilience) in response to anthropogenic and natural disturbances. This diversity complicates the selection of appropriate metrics for comparing resilience across ecosystems and studies.
