野生动物学报, 2011 本研究对北京动物园1头非洲象交配、分娩、哺育等一系列繁殖行为进行了详细的观察和描述。分析表明影响非洲象繁殖的主要因素有:1)妊娠期间饲养环境内的噪音污染;2)分娩后圈内地面状况;3 )哺乳期的营养供应等。根据研究结果,为动物园非洲象的饲养繁殖提出了几点建议:1)妊娠期在圈内安装监控设备,减少人员走动;2)分娩后可在地面垫草,帮助幼兽尽早站立;3)哺乳期发现雌象消瘦属正常现象,不宜增加精料。
