Shuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2004 以不覆盖的处理为对照，研究了冬小麦期覆盖秸秆对夏玉米土壤水分动态变化及产量的影响。结果表明，秸秆覆盖有明显的增产效果。受充足的降雨影响，秸秆覆盖的保墒效果不太明显，但夏玉米的水分利用效率(WUE)有较大的提高。秸秆覆盖对表土层(0～30cm)具有明显的保墒效果，尤其是夏玉米生长前期。在深土层(100～110cm)秸秆覆盖处理的土壤含水率低于不覆盖处理，形成一个缺水带。一年两熟条件下，夏玉米可以充分利用夏季多雨的特性，结合秸秆覆盖措施，可提高对降雨的利用效率。
