大西洋经向翻转环流 (AMOC) 是气候系统的关键组成部分，对全球和区域气候具有重要的影响。古气候重建表明，AMOC在不同时间尺度上均发生过显著的变化，其驱动机制较为复杂。利用中等复杂程度的地球系统模型LOVECLIM1.3，本研究对过去80万年的古气候进行了瞬变模拟。结果显示，除轨道时间尺度上的变化外，缓慢变化的太阳辐射也可以触发AMOC的突变以及多百年变率。当北半球高纬夏季太阳辐射降低到一定的阈值时，通过拉布拉多海和北欧海的海冰-海洋相互作用，能够引起AMOC的突然减弱并伴随多百年际振荡 ...
