MIG‐seq2: Multiplexed Inter‐Simple Sequence Repeat Genotyping by Sequencing With Dual‐Unique Indices
We developed a new version of the Multiplexed ISSR Genotyping by Sequencing (MIG‐seq) method, called MIG‐seq2. This improved protocol incorporates dual unique indices to distinguish more than 1344 samples and optimizes primer tail sequences to improve sequence quality.

Selective Feeding of the Duckweed Weevil on Three Common Species of Duckweed in Japan
We examined the feeding preferences of the duckweed weevil on three duckweed species: Spirodela polyrhiza (Sp), Landoltia punctata (Lp), and Lemna aequinoctialis (La). Feeding assays showed that the area of Lp consumed was significantly smaller than that of Sp and La.

Microtubule Inner Protein CFAP77 Contributes to Sperm Motility and Male Fertility in Mice
ABSTRACT Background Sperm motility is essential for male fertility, and its regulation is dependent on the structural integrity of the axoneme. The axoneme consists of a conserved “9+2” microtubule arrangement and is supported by microtubule inner proteins. However, the functional significance of many microtubule inner proteins remains unclear.

ABSTRACT Understanding how early mother–child interactions are linked to children's social‐cognitive processes requires methods capable of capturing the temporal structure of naturalistic behavior. This study introduces a computational framework based on Bayesian Network modeling to identify sequential dependencies among nonverbal behaviors (smiles ...

Three‐Dimensional Object Perception Can Emerge From Predictive Learning
ABSTRACT How do infants develop the ability to perceive objects in a 3D world? The theory of core knowledge suggests infants employ a few principles, such as cohesion, continuity, rigidity, and contact, to guide inference of objects. However, it is challenging to answer how object perception can be learned with similar constraints faced by infants and ...
