Integr ZoolChina is a global hotspot for cuckoo‐host diversity, with 17 cuckoo species, exploiting 142 host species. We reveal adaptive matching in body size and egg traits, along with niche partitioning among cuckoos, while identifying eight new host species.

野生动物学报, 2020 2017—2018年南京市红山森林动物园2次成功采用人工孵化的方式孵化出双垂鹤鸵雏鸟,并且成功地人工育雏。本文重点对第一次人工孵化及育雏的情况进行记录总结。孵化器温度设定为36.2 ℃,湿度为68%,从叨壳至出壳的时间间隔为6 h 35 min,雏鸟出生第3天开始人工开食,对雏鸟1—39 d的体重数据进行采集和分析,结果显示:雏鸟开始会有一个体重下降的过程,后面体重逐步上升。这2次的人工孵化与育雏说明,只要我们提供合适的温度湿度,适当的育幼环境,人工孵化和育雏双垂鹤鸵是可行的 ...

圈养靛冠噪鹛(Garrulax courtoisi)合作繁殖行为初探
野生动物学报, 2016 靛冠噪鹛(Garrulax courtoisi)是中国特有的鸟类,其野生种群仅限于江西婺源,数量不超过300只。在其全球圈养种群中,南昌动物园的靛冠噪鹛是唯一确定来自于婺源的群体。2015年,对该群体的繁殖行为进行观察,发现雄鸟可能通过筑巢来赢得与雌鸟交尾的机会,而雌鸟并不会只选择1只雄鸟。即便如此,不是所有的雄性个体都有机会交尾,也不是所有的巢都会用于产卵。但是它们之中大部分个体会参与孵化,孵化期的白天(5:00～17:00)成鸟平均翻蛋9.83～11.33次/h、凉蛋7.17～8.83次/h、换孵9.
