Yield of kachri (Cucumis callosus) as influenced by organic and inorganic sources of nutrients in arid zone

open access: yesThe Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences, 2016
The results showed that under hot arid agro-climate where soil is low in organic matter and available plant nutrients are of great importance in increasing yield by the balanced plant nutrients supply in Kachri (Cucumis callosus).

Shocks and Universal Statistics in (1+1)-Dimensional Relativistic Turbulence [PDF]

open access: yesJHEP 1103:006,2011, 2010
We propose that statistical averages in relativistic turbulence exhibit universal properties. We consider analytically the velocity and temperature differences structure functions in the (1+1)-dimensional relativistic turbulence in which shock waves provide the main contribution to the structure functions in the inertial range.

FIC/FEM formulation with matrix stabilizing terms for incompressible flows at low and high Reynolds numbers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The final publication is available at Springer via http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/s00466-006-0060-yWe present a general formulation for incompressible fluid flow analysis using the finite element method. The necessary stabilization for dealing with convective

Compact hyperbolic extra dimensions: a M-theory solution and its implications for the LHC [PDF]

open access: yesJHEP 1008:006,2010, 2010
We study M-theory solutions involving compact hyperbolic spaces. The combination of a gap `a la Randall-Sundrum and the topology of an internal Riemann surface allows a geometrical solution to the hierarchy problem that does not require light Kaluza--Klein modes. We comment on the consequences of such a compactification for LHC physics.

Interaction between zeolites and cluster compounds. Part 2.—Thermal decomposition of iron pentacarbonyl on zeolites [PDF]

open access: yes, 1984
Thermal decomposition in a thermobalance of Fe(CO)5 adsorbed on alkali-metal, hydrogen-Y, dealuminated Y, L and omega zeolites proceeds stepwise via slow decarbonylation at low and high temperatures, separated by a fast endothermic reaction.

Determinant representations of scalar products for the open XXZ chain with non-diagonal boundary terms [PDF]

open access: yesJHEP 1101:006,2011, 2010
With the help of the F-basis provided by the Drinfeld twist or factorizing F-matrix for the open XXZ spin chain with non-diagonal boundary terms, we obtain the determinant representations of the scalar products of Bethe states of the model.

Outer envelope membranes from chloroplasts are isolated as right-side-out vesicles [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
Outer envelope membranes were isolated from purified chloroplasts of pea leaves. The sidedness of the vesicles was analyzed by (i) aqueous polymer-two phase partitioning, (ii) the effect of limited proteolysis on the outer-envelope proteins (OEP) 86 and ...
