A 3D Astrocyte Microenvironment Model Enables Rapid Ca2+‐Resolved Analysis and Therapeutic Modulation of Oxidative Neuroinflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents ARC‐3D, a soft 3D model that recreates how brain support cells, called astrocytes, react to oxidative stress. The system visualizes rapid calcium changes and inflammatory signals, and shows how the drug KDS12025 can protect cells from damage. ARC‐3D offers a simple, reliable way to study early drivers of brain inflammation.

Ferroelectric Quantum Dots for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work has provided a protocol for fabricating retinomorphic phototransistors by integrating ferroelectric ligands with quantum dots. The resulting device combines ferroelectricity, optical responsiveness, and low‐power operation to enable adaptive signal amplification and high recognition accuracy under low‐light conditions, while supporting ...

Microbial Degradation of Urea from Urea Bearing Wastewaters

open access: yesEnvironment Conservation Journal, 2001
Urea and ammonia are mostly present in wastewaters from  nitrogenous fertilizer  industries. Urea can  not be oxidized  by usual oxidation methods, microbiological  hydrolysis of urea is necessary for removal of urea from wastewater.
