A note on the fuzzy Xor

open access: yesAnnales Mathematicae Silesianae
In this paper we will try to answer what conditions must be met by the fuzzy Xor to be used for cryptographic purposes. We will also show that defining the fuzzy Xor using other fuzzy connectives is not suitable for this purpose.

Decision support system for selection of the appropriate tool of artificial intelligence using Diophantine spherical fuzzy normal interval-valued set

open access: yesJournal of Taibah University for Science
Modern society employs an increasing number of robots, notably service robots. Robots will be able to handle everyday objects with simplicity, but only if they are collaborated with a planning and decision-making (DM) strategy that allows them to very ...

Fuzzy logics as the logics of chains

open access: yes, 2008
The paper proposes a formal delimitation of the class of ‘fuzzy logics ’ and answers some objections that can be raised against the definition; the focus is put on informal and motivational aspects of the problem.

Some properties of residuated lattices

open access: yes, 2003
We investigate some (universal algebraic) properties of residuated lattices -algebras which play the role of structures of truth values of various systems of fuzzy logic.

Some results in the level sets of some bipolar fuzzy relations

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica
In this paper, some properties of a BPFR were studied. Also, level sets of BPFRs were studied with their properties. Some results were given and, in some cases, examples and counter-examples were constructed. In particular, we have shown that if a BPFR Q

Deductive Systems of Fuzzy Logic (a Tutorial)

open access: yes, 1997
Fuzzy logic is analyzed from the point of view of formal logic; the underlying calculi and their properties are surveyed. AMS subject classification: 03B52, 03B50, 06BXX. Key words: fuzzy logic, many-valued logic, residuated lattices.
