Identification and Reversible Optical Switching of NV+ Centers in Diamond

NV+ centers in diamond are predicted to coexist with NV0 and NV– centers, but direct experimental confirmation remains challenging. Using positron annihilation spectroscopy with in situ light illumination, a charge transition NV+/0 is observed at 1.234(8) eV.

Cu‐Based MOF/TiO2 Composite Nanomaterials for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation and the Role of Copper

HKUST‐1/TiO2 composite materials show a very high photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate which increases as a function of the irradiation time until reaching a plateau and even surpasses the performance of the 1%Pt/TiO2 material after three photocatalytic cycles.

Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas

Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.

Supramolecular Additive Screening to Engineer Microfibrous Rafts for Expansion of Pluripotent Stem Cells in Dynamic Suspension

Segmented PCL‐bisurea (BU) polymers and BU‐peptide conjugate additives assemble into fibrous superstructures at the nanoscale through a mix‐and‐matching strategy. Different bioactivities are incorporated through variation of peptide sequences. The resulting materials are screened for their effect on stem cell adhesion and pluripotency.
