Negligible creep temperature curves for EN-13445: JRC Contribution to CEN/TC 54/WG 59: Report replaces WG59 report N0024 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The simplified methodology proposed by JRC (in CEN TC 54 WG CREEP) for defining negligible creep temperature curves (TNEC) has here been applied to define the negligible creep (TNEC) curves and the no-creep temperature (TNC) for a service life of 200 000

Silazane‐based zinc‐filled coating system for corrosion protection of steel in humid and salt water containing environments

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, Volume 108, Issue 12, December 2025.
In this study, silazanes are used as matrix material for the fabrication of lamellar corrosion protection base coats. The silazane matrix leads to a temperature stability up to 400°C of the zinc, magnesium, and aluminum‐filled coatings. At higher temperatures the coatings suffer from oxidation of the fillers resulting in reduced corrosion protection ...

UV curing of polysilazane‐based coatings with metallic fillers for corrosion protection applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology, Volume 22, Issue 6, November/December 2025.
In this study, the feasibility of UV curing a highly filled silazane‐based coating with metallic fillers is investigated. Despite the high amount of UV reflecting fillers the entire coating is cured via thiol‐ene “click” reactions. The resulting properties are comparable to those of thermally cured coatings.
