Calabi–Yau structures on (quasi-)bisymplectic algebras

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2023
We show that relative Calabi–Yau structures on noncommutative moment maps give rise to (quasi-)bisymplectic structures, as introduced by Crawley-Boevey–Etingof–Ginzburg (in the additive case) and Van den Bergh (in the multiplicative case). We prove along

Maps from Feigin and Odesskii's elliptic algebras to twisted homogeneous coordinate rings

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2021
The elliptic algebras in the title are connected graded $\mathbb {C}$-algebras, denoted $Q_{n,k}(E,\tau )$, depending on a pair of relatively prime integers $n>k\ge 1$, an elliptic curve E and a point $\tau \in E$.

Risk factors associated with higher scores in internalizing and externalizing behaviors in Chilean preschoolers

open access: yesInfant Mental Health Journal: Infancy and Early Childhood, Volume 44, Issue 5, Page 663-678, September 2023., 2023
Abstract Early detection of behavioral disorders in children is necessary for intervention. Available data show a high prevalence of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders in Chile (22.5%), but behavioral problems in younger children have not been evaluated.

Reproducibility of serum testing for environmental allergen‐specific IgE in dogs in Europe

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 32, Issue 3, Page 251-e67, June 2021., 2021
Background – Serum testing for allergen‐specific immunoglobulin (Ig)E is commonly employed to identify allergens used for allergen‐specific immunotherapy in dogs, yet the reliability of results has been a matter of debate. Objective – The aim of this study was to evaluate the reproducibility of serum tests for environmental allergen‐specific IgE in ...

Solving the Darwin problem in the first post-Newtonian approximation of general relativity [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We analytically calculate the equilibrium sequence of the corotating binary stars of incompressible fluid in the first post-Newtonian(PN) approximation of general relativity.

Sheaves that fail to represent matrix rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
There are two fundamental obstructions to representing noncommutative rings via sheaves. First, there is no subcanonical coverage on the opposite of the category of rings that includes all covering families in the big Zariski site.

Noncommutative resolutions using syzygies

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 51, Issue 1, Page 43-48, February 2019., 2019
Abstract Given a noether algebra with a noncommutative resolution, a general construction of new noncommutative resolutions is given. As an application, it is proved that any finite length module over a regular local or polynomial ring gives rise, via suitable syzygies, to a noncommutative resolution.

Voevodsky's conjecture for cubic fourfolds and Gushel-Mukai fourfolds via noncommutative K3 surfaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In the first part of this paper we will prove the Voevodsky's nilpotence conjecture for smooth cubic fourfolds and ordinary generic Gushel-Mukai fourfolds.

Nonassociative algebras: a framework for differential geometry

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2003, Issue 60, Page 3777-3795, 2003., 2003
A nonassociative algebra endowed with a Lie bracket, called a torsion algebra, is viewed as an algebraic analog of a manifold with an affine connection. Its elements are interpreted as vector fields and its multiplication is interpreted as a connection. This provides a framework for differential geometry on a formal manifold with a formal connection. A

A Note on the Automorphism Group of the Bielawski-Pidstrygach Quiver [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We show that there exists a morphism between a group $\Gamma^{\mathrm{alg}}$ introduced by G. Wilson and a quotient of the group of tame symplectic automorphisms of the path algebra of a quiver introduced by Bielawski and Pidstrygach. The latter is known
