Fermat hypersurfaces and Subcanonical curves
We extend the classical Enriques-Petri Theorem to $s$-subcanonical projectively normal curves, proving that such a curve is $(s+2)$-gonal if and only if it is contained in a surface of minimal degree.

Focal Varieties of Curves of Genus 6 and 8
In this paper we give a simple Torelli type theorem for curves of genus 6 and 8 by showing that these curves can be reconstructed from their Brill-Noether varieties.

Petri Maps for Very Ample Line Bundles [PDF]
Here we construct several smooth curves C and several very ample and special line bundles L on C such that the multiplication map $H^0(C,L)\otimes H^0(C, \omega_C \otimes L^*) \rightarrow H^0(C, \omega_C)$ (i.e.

A ribbon is a double structure on P^1. The geometry of a ribbon is closely related to that of a smooth curve. In this note we consider linear series on ribbons.

Moduli of Crude Limit Linear Series
Eisenbud and Harris introduced the theory of limit linear series, and constructed a space parametrizing their limit linear series. Recently, Osserman introduced a new space which compactifies the Eisenbud-Harris construction. In the Eisenbud-Harris space,
