A Filtered-Davidson Method for Large Symmetric Eigenvalue Problems
, 2017For symmetric eigenvalue problems, we constructed a three-term recurrence polynomial filter by means of Chebyshev polynomials. The new filtering technique does not need to solve linear systems and only needs matrix-vector products.

A SHORT NOTE ON THE PATTERN OF THE SINGULAR VALUES OF A SCALED RANDOM HANKEL MATRIX
, 2014This note considers some of the properties and studies the distribution of the eigenvalues of the matrix XX divided by its trace, where X is a Hankel random matrix.

A proof of a conjecture on monotonic behavior of the largest eigenvalue of a number-theoretic matrix
, 2015In this study we investigate the monotonic behavior of the largest eigenvalue of the n×n matrix EnTEn, where the i j− entry of En is 1 if j|i and 0 otherwise and hence we present a proof of a part of the Mattila-Haukkanen conjecture [16]. MSC2010. 15A18,
