Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.Total syntheses of agelamadin F and (±)‐tauroacidin A were achieved by sodium chlorite (NaClO2)‐mediated oxidative C─N coupling. Nine C15–N–amino acid‐substituted oroidin derivatives were successfully prepared to demonstrate the applicability and versatility of this oxidative coupling reaction.

Catalyst‐Free Selective Reduction of Nitrogen Dioxide to Nitric Oxide
Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.Common main group reductants selectively convert nitrogen dioxide to nitric oxide in a catalyst‐free manner. Computational studies suggest divergent reaction pathways depending on the reductant employed.
