Neural Mechanisms of Bidirectional Visuo‐Linguistic Transformation in Interactive Communication

Using hyperscanning fMRI and a role‐switching task, we examined how individuals transform visual input into language and reconstruct imagery from speech. Whole‐brain analyses identified key regions, and effective connectivity among IFG, FFA, and IPS revealed dynamic, role‐dependent shifts in information flow direction.
