STRAIN ACHROMOBACTER SP 36P – DESTRUCTOR OF 2,4,5-TRICHLOROPHENOXYACETIC ACID
A natural strain isolated from a soil sample from an industrial zone in Ufa was identified. Based on the results of analysis of physiological and biochemical data and the 16S rDNA gene sequence, the taxonomic position of the isolate was determined to the genus Achromobacter. The strain was designated Achromobacter sp 36P.
