Exercise-Induced miR-210 Promotes Cardiomyocyte Proliferation and Survival and Mediates Exercise-Induced Cardiac Protection against Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesResearch
Exercise can stimulate physiological cardiac growth and provide cardioprotection effect in ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. MiR-210 is regulated in the adaptation process induced by exercise; however, its impact on exercise-induced physiological ...

miR-210-5p promotes epithelial–mesenchymal transition by inhibiting PIK3R5 thereby activating oncogenic autophagy in osteosarcoma cells

open access: yesCell Death and Disease, 2020
Osteosarcoma (OS) is a malignant bone tumor which occurs mainly in adolescents with frequent pulmonary metastasis and a high mortality rate. Accumulating evidence has indicated that microRNAs (miRNAs) play a vital role in various tumors by modulating ...

Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cell-Secreted Exosomal MicroRNA-210 Promotes Angiogenesis In Vitro and In Vivo

open access: yesMolecular Therapy: Nucleic Acids, 2018
We previously found that 19 microRNAs (miRNAs) significantly increased in the sera of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. Here, we evaluated whether these miRNAs were secreted by HCC cells and contributed to tumor angiogenesis. High level of miR-210-

Stellar Populations and the Local Group Membership of the Dwarf Galaxy DDO 210

open access: yes, 1999
We present deep BVI CCD photometry of the stars in the dwarf galaxy DDO 210. The color-magnitude diagrams of DDO 210 show a well-defined red giant branch (RGB) and a blue plume. The tip of the RGB is found to be at I_TRGB = 20.95 +/- 0.10 mag.
