Some characterizations of functions generating K-Schur concave sums and of K-concave set-valued functions [PDF]
In this note we establish some characterizations of (single valued) unctions, that assume values in a Banach space, generating K-Schur concave sums. These results improve some theorems obtained in [13] and [11].

Regolarità e semialgebricità di soluzioni di sistemi di equazioni lineari [PDF]
This work is concerned with the study of a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of solutions with a given regularity to a system of linear equations with coefficients of given regularity.

Convergence rates for sums-of-squares hierarchies with correlative sparsity [PDF]
This work derives upper bounds on the convergence rate of the moment-sum-of-squares hierarchy with correlative sparsity for global minimization of polynomials on compact basic semialgebraic sets.

The gap between a variational problem and its occupation measure relaxation
Recent works have proposed linear programming relaxations of variational optimization problems subject to nonlinear PDE constraints based on the occupation measure formalism.

Cyclotron side band emissions from magnetospheric electrons [PDF]
Very low frequency emissions with subharmonic cyclotron frequency from magnetospheric electrons were detected by the S(3)-A satellite (Explorer 45) whose orbit is close to the magnetic equatorial plane where the wave-particle interaction is most ...

Abstract. In this paper we consider the Nemytskii operator [PDF]
(t) = h(t, f(t)), generated by a given set–valued function h is considered. It is shown that if H is globally Lipschitzian and maps the space of functions of bounded p-variation (with respect to a weight function α) into the space of set-valued ...
