Forum of Mathematics, PiWe introduce new types of examples of bounded degree acyclic Borel graphs and study their combinatorial properties in the context of descriptive combinatorics, using a generalization of the determinacy method of Marks [Mar16].

Characterization of pre-idempotent Copulas
Dependence Modeling, 2023 Copulas CC for which (CtC)2=CtC{({C}^{t}C)}^{2}={C}^{t}C are called pre-idempotent copulas, of which well-studied examples are idempotent copulas and complete dependence copulas.

Minimal definable graphs of definable chromatic number at least three
Forum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2021 We show that there is a Borel graph on a standard Borel space of Borel chromatic number three that admits a Borel homomorphism to every analytic graph on a standard Borel space of Borel chromatic number at least three. Moreover, we characterize the Borel

A dichotomy of sets via typical differentiability
Forum of Mathematics, Sigma, 2020 We obtain a criterion for an analytic subset of a Euclidean space to contain points of differentiability of a typical Lipschitz function: namely, that it cannot be covered by countably many sets, each of which is closed and purely unrectifiable (has a ...

On existence of the support of a Borel measure
Demonstratio Mathematica, 2018 We present arguments showing that the standard notion of the support of a probabilistic Borel measure is not well defined in every topological space. Our goal is to create a “very inseparable” space and to show the existence of a family of closed sets ...

Complexity of finite Borel asymptotic dimension
Forum of Mathematics, SigmaWe show that the set of locally finite Borel graphs with finite Borel asymptotic dimension is $\boldsymbol {\Sigma }^1_2$ -complete. The result is based on a combinatorial characterization of finite Borel asymptotic dimension for graphs generated ...

Ascoli-type theorems in the cone metric space setting
, 2014 We give some necessary and sufficient conditions for (global) continuity of the limit of a pointwise convergent net of cone metric space-valued functions, defined on a Hausdorff topological space, in terms of weak filter exhaustiveness. In this framework,

Ideal convergent subseries in banach spaces
, 2019 Assume that I is an ideal on N, and Σnxn is a divergent series in a Banach space X. We study the Baire category, and the measure of the set A(I) := {t ∈ {0,1}N : Σn t(n)xn is I-convergent. In the category case, we assume that I has the Baire property and
