Conformal dimensions on causal random geometry
We investigate the interaction between matter and causal dynamical triangulations (CDT) in the context of two-dimensional quantum gravity. We focus on the Ising model coupled to CDT, contrasting this with Liouville gravity and the relation to the ...

3D Bioinspired Hair‐Based Solar Evaporator for Efficient Water Harvesting
A bio‐derived solar evaporator inspired by blackbody radiation is developed using human hair waste. The vertically aligned hair structure enables broadband light absorption, efficient thermal localization, and rapid water transport, achieving high evaporation rates and stable desalination performance.

Proper time is stochastic time in 2d quantum gravity
We show that proper time, when defined in the quantum theory of 2d gravity, becomes identical to the stochastic time associated with the stochastic quantization of space.

Spontaneous compactification in 2D induced quantum gravity
Spontaneous compactification ---on a $R^1\times S^1$ background--- in 2D induced quantum gravity (considered as a toy model for more fundamental quantum gravity) is analyzed in the gauge-independent effective action formalism.

A nanofiber/graphene hybrid yarn with 1D oriented nanoscale channel is constructed via bath electrospinning followed by a functionalization process, yielding exceptional anti‐swelling and weaving abilities. When configured into a waterproof fabric through series‐parallel connection of 62‐cm yarns, an output power of 31.96 µW is achieved, which could ...

Finite cut-off JT and Liouville quantum gravities on the disk at one loop
Within the path integral formalism, we compute the disk partition functions of two dimensional Liouville and JT quantum gravity theories coupled to a matter CFT of central charge c, with cosmological constant Λ, in the limit c → −∞, |Λ| → ∞, for fixed Λ ...

In this paper, we introduce a new method called Modular Feed-forward Neural Network (MFNN) to find the shape factor, depth and amplitude coefficient parameters related to simple geometric-shaped models such as sphere, horizontal cylinder, and vertical ...

I discuss recent progress in our understanding of two barriers in quantum gravity: $c > 1$ in the case of 2d quantum gravity and $D > 2$ in the case of Euclidean Einstein-Hilbert gravity formulated in space-time dimensions $D >2$.Comment: standard latex,

Measure in the 2D Regge quantum gravity
We propose a version of the 2D Regge calculus, in which the areas of all triangles are equal to each other. In this discretization Lund - Regge measure over link lengths is simplified considerably. Contrary to the usual Regge models with Lund - Regge measure, where this measure is nonlocal and rather complicated, the models based on our approach can be

Enthesis injuries are a worldwide healthcare problem. Biomimetic electrospun enthesis fascicle‐inspired scaffolds, with and without nano‐mineralization are developed. Human Mesenchymal Stromal cells (hMSCs) express the most balanced enthesis markers on the non‐mineralized scaffolds.
