Use of a transputer system for fast 3-D image reconstruction in 3-D PET
IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1990A transputer system was used for fast 3-D image reconstruction in 3-D PET (positron emission tomography). The optimization of the algorithm (written in Occam language) and its parallelization on the transputer system for its use in the HISPET (high spatial resolution PET) project are discussed.
