Electrosynthesis, Characterization and Corrosion Inhibition Study of DBSA-doped Polyaniline Coating on 310 Stainless Steel [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2017
The synthesis of polyaniline doped with dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid (Pani-DBSA) coatings on 310 stainless steel (310 SS) surfaces has been investigated by using the galvanostatic method.

Osteomyelitis caused by Aspergillus species: a review of 310 reported cases.

open access: yesClinical Microbiology and Infection, 2014
Aspergillus osteomyelitis is a rare infection. We reviewed 310 individual cases reported in the literature from 1936 to 2013. The median age of patients was 43 years (range, 0-86 years), and 59% were males.

Structurally Colored Physically Unclonable Functions with Ultra‐Rich and Stable Encoding Capacity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
This study reports a design strategy for generating bright‐field resolvable physically unclonable functions with extremely rich encoding capacity coupled with outstanding thermal and chemical stability. The optical response emerges from thickness‐dependent structural color formation in ZnO features, which are fabricated by physical vapor deposition ...

The Onset of Planet Formation in Brown Dwarf Disks

open access: yes, 2005
The onset of planet formation in protoplanetary disks is marked by the growth and crystallization of sub-micron-sized dust grains accompanied by dust settling toward the disk mid-plane.

Dynamics and deformability of α-, 310- and π-helices

open access: yes, 2017
Protein structures are often represented as seen in crystals as (i) rigid macromolecules (ii) with helices, sheets and coils. However, both definitions are partial because (i) proteins are highly dynamic macromolecules and (ii) the description of protein

Advances in Radiative Heat Transfer: Bridging Far‐Field Fundamentals and Emerging Near‐Field Innovations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review synthesizes the evolution of radiative heat transfer, emphasizing the transition from far‐field to near‐field regimes. Traditional frameworks, such as Planck's law, are revisited alongside modern innovations like fluctuational electrodynamics. Applications span nanoscale thermal management, energy harvesting, and thermophotovoltaic systems.

2-(3-Cyano-4-{3-[1-(2-hydroxyethyl)-3,3-dimethyl-1,3-dihydroindol-2-ylidene]prop-2-enyl}-5,5-dimethyl-5H-furan-2-ylidene)malononitrile

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2014
The title compound, C25H24N4O2, adopts a cisoid configuration and has twofold orientational disorder of the 2-hydroxyethyl group. The molecule is twisted from planarity so that the dihedral angle between the terminating indol-2-ylidene and the furan-2 ...

Unique Performance Considerations for Printable Organic Semiconductor and Perovskite Radiation Detectors: Toward Consensus on Best Practice Evaluation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A lack of standard approaches for testing and reporting the performance of metal halide perovskites and organic semiconductor radiation detectors has resulted in inconsistent interpretation of performance parameters, impeding progress in the field. This Perspective recommends key metrics and experimental details, which are suggested for reporting in ...

MAGIC detection of VHE Gamma-ray emission from NGC 1275 and IC 310 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The MAGIC Cherenkov telescopes observed the Perseus cluster sky region in stereo mode for nearly 90 hr from October 2009 to February 2011. This campaign led to the discovery of very high energy Gamma-ray emission from the central radio galaxy NGC 1275 and the head-tail radio galaxy IC 310.
