320-slice CT and myocardial bridge [PDF]
A 29-year-old professional athlete was referred for cardiac evaluation after a syncope occurring during strenuous exercise. Twelve-lead ECG showed Brugada-like pattern (figure 1), but both flecainide and genetic tests were negative. ECG Holter and echocardiogram were normal. ECG stress test showed no significant ST-segment changes. In order to rule out

The (110) and (320) surfaces of a Cantor alloy [PDF]
Abstract The (110) and (320) surfaces of the single-phase FeCrMnNiCo solid solution have been studied on two adjacent millimeter size grains using surface science and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. The structural and chemical evolutions of the high entropy alloy (HEA) surfaces have been determined for various sputtering conditions,

Pacific Equatorial Age Transect [PDF]
Integrated Ocean Drilling Program Expedition 320/321, "Pacific Equatorial Age Transect" (Sites U1331–U1338), was designed to recover a continuous Cenozoic record of the equatorial Pacific by coring above the paleoposition of the Equator at successive crustal ages on the Pacific plate.

FoxO1 signaling in B cell malignancies and its therapeutic targeting
FoxO1 has context‐specific tumor suppressor or oncogenic character in myeloid and B cell malignancies. This includes tumor‐promoting properties such as stemness maintenance and DNA damage tolerance in acute leukemias, or regulation of cell proliferation and survival, or migration in mature B cell malignancies.

To explore the impact of the overexpression of the multidrug‐transporter P‐glycoprotein (ABCB1) on membrane fluidity, we compared the transversal gradient of mobility and microviscosity in plasma membranes of drug‐sensitive Chinese hamster ovary cells (AuxB1) and their multidrug‐resistant derivatives (B30) using the fluorescent n‐(9‐anthroyloxy) fatty ...

Circulating tumor cells: advancing personalized therapy in small cell lung cancer patients
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive form of lung cancer that spreads rapidly to secondary sites such as the brain and liver. Cancer cells circulating in the blood, “circulating tumor cells” (CTCs), have demonstrated prognostic value in SCLC, and evaluating biomarkers on CTCs could guide treatment decisions such as for PARP inhibitors ...

Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors
Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.
