Comprising miniature, wireless sensors, and communication devices, smart dust autonomously collects, processes, and transmits data via swarm‐based communication.

Edible Jumpers Powered by Shell Snapping
Advanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.This work demonstrates an entirely edible, centimeter‐scale jumper by instantly releasing elastic energy through shell snapping. It can jump up to 36 cm, comparable to previous non‐edible jumpers. Moreover, this jumper can be loaded with an edible latch to trigger the jumping upon humidity stimulus autonomously.

International Journal of Cancer, 2018 Chromosome 17p deletions are present in 10% of patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM), and are associated with inferior prognosis. miR‐324‐5p is located on chromosome 17p, and shows diverse functions in different types of cancers.

This strategy leverages the C(sp3)−F bond at C2 to enable α‐stereocontrolled glycosylation that eliminates the reliance on O‐based directing groups.

Galaxy Population in a Cluster of Galaxies around the Radio Galaxy 3C 324 at z=1.2 [PDF]
, 2001 We discuss the properties of galaxies around the radio galaxy 3C 324 at z=1.2 based on BVRIK' multi-band imaging data. We have applied a photometric-redshift technique to objects in the 3C 324 field, and identified 35 objects as plausible cluster members.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Klinefelter syndrome‐derived iPSCs provide an excellent model for studying X chromosome inactivation and functions of escapee genes during human primordial germ cell‐like cells differentiation process. Downregulation of three X‐linked genes—IGSF1, CHRDL1, and USP9X—significantly enhances the efficiency of hPGCLCs.
