Background: In this study, we selected several candidate miRNAs to study their possible relationships with tuberculosis. Results: The expression of hsa_circ_0003528 was negatively correlated with the expression of miR-224-5p, miR-324-5p, miR-488-5p, miR ...

MicroRNA-324 in Human Cancer: miR-324-5p and miR-324-3p Have Distinct Biological Functions in Human Cancer [PDF]
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs that have crucial regulatory functions in carcinogenesis. miR-324-5p and miR-324-3p are generated from the same hairpin RNA structure, however, both are diverse in their direct target genes and expression levels.

A Supplement to Scholz's Reciprocity Law [PDF]
In this note we will present a supplement to Scholz's reciprocity law and discuss applications to the structure of 2-class groups of quadratic number fields.

Coulomb Gauge in One-Loop Quantum Cosmology [PDF]
The well-known discrepancies between covariant and non-covariant formalisms in quantum field theory and quantum cosmology are analyzed by focusing on the Coulomb gauge for vacuum Maxwell theory. On studying a flat Euclidean background with boundaries, the corresponding mode-by-mode analysis of one-loop quantum amplitudes agrees with the results of the ...

The QED beta-function from global solutions to Dyson-Schwinger equations [PDF]
We discuss the structure of beta functions as determined by the recursive nature of Dyson--Schwinger equations turned into an analysis of ordinary differential equations, with particular emphasis given to quantum electrodynamics. In particular we determine when a separatrix for solutions to such ODEs exists and clarify the existence of Landau poles ...

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most general malignant tumors. Accumulating evidence implied that long non-coding RNA Metastasis Associated Lung Adenocarcinoma Transcript 1 (MALAT1) participated in the tumorigenesis of CRC.

Bogoliubov transformations and fermion condensates in lattice field theories [PDF]
We apply generalized Bogoliubov transformations to the transfer matrix of relativistic field theories regularized on a lattice. We derive the conditions these transformations must satisfy to factorize the transfer matrix into two terms which propagate fermions and antifermions separately, and we solve the relative equations under some conditions.

Increasing studies have demonstrated that microRNAs (miRNAs) are associated with the metastasis of gallbladder carcinoma (GBC). Recently, miR-324-5p has been reported to be a tumour-suppressive miRNA in many types of malignant cancer.

Temperature Runaway in a Pulsed Dielectric Barrier Discharge Reactor [PDF]
This paper reports on experimental measurements of the gas temperature in a dielectric barrier discharge reactor powered by a high voltage pulsed signal. It is shown that the thermal behavior of the reactor follows a first order model. However, an unexpected runaway phenomenon was observed at a frequency of 300Hz.

Background Increasing evidence has indicated the important role of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in regulating the development and progression of cancers, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).
