The Effect of Regioisomerism on the TADF Properties of Organic Dyes

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
The properties of TADF emitters are highly dependent on the chosen electron donor and acceptor, as well as the π‐system that links them together. Herein, we show that regioisomerism affects the physical properties of spirobifluorene‐based systems in solution, thin films and crystals.

Synthesis, Photophysical, and Chemiexcitation Properties of Luminol‐Fullerene Dyads: Towards Chemiexcitation Electron Transfer

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Accepted Article.
Fullerene‐based donor‐acceptor (D‐A) dyads have been extensively studied for their unique electronic properties, with applications in photoinduced energy conversion devices. In these systems, dynamic quenching of the excited donor’s emission occurs, via energy or electron transfer to the fullerene acceptor.

A Ketol‐Acid Reductoisomerase Inhibitor That Has Antituberculosis and Herbicidal Activity

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
1a and 1f are potent inhibitors of ketolacid reductoisomerase (KARI). 1f has good antituberculosis activity and 1a has herbicidal activity against Brassica campestris and Amaranthus retroflexus. Abstract Ketol‐acid reductoisomerase (KARI) is a target for the development of new biocidal agents. This is based on its essential role in branched chain amino

Corn cob pyrolysis: A systematic literature review of methods and applications

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Mapping the research landscape of corn cob pyrolysis. Abstractas The agricultural sector is experiencing a surge in waste generation due to population growth, creating an urgent need to convert byproducts into value‐added products. Maize (Zea mays L.), a leading global crop, produces significant byproducts, such as corn cob, which are often undervalued.
