Comment on: "Theory of the evaporation/condensation transition of equilibrium droplets in finite volumes" [PDF]

open access: yesPhysica A 327 (2003) 589-592., 2003
We examine some aspects of the recent results by K. Binder. The equilibrium formation/dissolution of droplets in finite systems is discussed in the context of the canonical and the grand canonical distributions.

Advanced Air Electrodes for Reversible Protonic Ceramic Electrochemical Cells: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Reversible protonic ceramic electrochemical cells (R‐PCECs) face challenges from sluggish and unstable oxygen reduction and evolution reactions in the air electrode. This review discusses recent progress in triple‐conducting air electrodes, emphasizing mechanisms, performance factors, and design strategies, offering guidance for creating efficient and ...

Structure Elucidation, Total Synthesis, Antibacterial In Vivo Efficacy and Biosynthesis Proposal of Myxobacterial Corramycin**

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Volume 61, Issue 51, December 19, 2022., 2022
Corramycin is a novel natural product produced by the myxobacterium Corallococcus coralloides. The structure, extraordinary total synthesis and biosynthesis of the antibiotic is described for the first time. Its promise as an in vivo septicemia model, the absence of cross‐resistance with commonly used antibiotic classes, and the lack of cytotoxicity ...

Combining visibilities from the Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope and the Nancay Radio Heliograph: High dynamic range snapshot images of the solar corona at 327 MHz [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We report first results from an ongoing program of combining visibilities from the Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope (GMRT) and the Nancay Radio Heliograph (NRH) to produce composite snapshot images of the sun at meter wavelengths. We describe the data processing, including a specific multi-scale CLEAN algorithm.

Recent Advances in Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ubiquitous defects predominately account for photo‐instability and open‐circuit voltage losses in wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells (WBG PSCs). This review comprehensively presents the underlying impact mechanisms, summarizes the advanced optimization strategies across various functional layers and their interfaces to develop efficient and stable WBG

Upper Limits on the Pulsed Radio Emission from the Geminga Pulsar at 35 & 327 MHz [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 1998
We report here our observations at 35 MHz and 327 MHz made in the direction of the Gamma Ray pulsar Geminga. Based on the observed absence of any significant pulsed emission from this source above our detection thresholds at the two frequencies, we obtain useful upper-limits for the average flux to be 75-100 mJy at 35 MHz, and 0.2-0.3 mJy at 327 MHz ...
