Study of {332}<113> twinning in a multilayered Ti-10Mo-xFe (x = 1–3) alloy by ECCI and EBSD

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials, 2016
We have investigated the propagation of {332} twins in a multilayered Ti-10Mo-xFe (x = 1–3) alloy fabricated by multi-pass hot rolling. The material contains a macroscopic Fe-graded structure (about 130 μm width) between 1 and 3 wt% Fe in the direction ...

Light‐Responsive Enzyme‐Loaded Nanoparticles for Tunable Adhesion and Mechanical Wound Contraction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a photoactivatable enzyme‐loaded mesoporous nanoparticle system (MPDA_PaTy) that enables light‐triggered tunable tissue adhesion and facilitates mechanical wound contraction. Controlled enzymatic crosslinking at tissue or hydrogel interfaces allows on‐demand adhesion.

ASEAN’s Preferential Trade Agreements (PTA) Strategy

open access: yesJournal of Current Southeast Asian Affairs, 2011
This paper provides a diversification explanation in order understand the development of PTAs in Southeast Asia. I argue that an important reason why ASEAN states participate in PTAs has been to diversify existing trade ties and to reduce overdependence ...

In?nitely Repeated Games with Public Monitoring and Monetary Transfers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, we study in?nitely repeated games with imperfect public monitoring and the possibility of monetary transfers. We develop an effcient algorithm to compute the set of pure strategy public perfect equilibrium payoffs for each discount factor.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Does AFTA Create More Trade for Thailand? An Investigation of Some Key Trade Indicators

open access: yesJournal of Current Southeast Asian Affairs, 2010
This paper examines whether the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA) creates trade for Thailand or actually diverts it away from the country. It does this by analyzing various trade indicators: the Export Similarity Index, the Intra-Industry Trade Index ...

Shedding Light on the Cellular Uptake Mechanisms of Bioactive Glass Nanoparticles as Controlled Intracellular Delivery Platforms: A Review of the Recent Literature

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the main uptake pathways of bioactive glass nanoparticles (BGNs) and their intracellular localization, highlighting that BGNs are mainly internalized and entrapped within endosomes/lysosomes. Strategies for controlled intracellular ion release, with implications for targeted modulation of cell behavior, are discussed. The need to

Medium Optimization and Fermentation Kinetics for κ-Carrageenase Production by Thalassospira sp. Fjfst-332

open access: yesMolecules, 2016
Effective degradation of κ-carrageenan by isolated Thalassospira sp. fjfst-332 is reported for the first time in this paper. It was identified by 16S rDNA sequencing and morphological observation using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).
