Antagonist Targeting the Species‐Specific Fatty Acid Dehydrogenase/Isomerase FabX for Anti‐H. pylori Infection

This study demonstrates that the atypical dehydrogenase/isomerase FabX in Type‐II fatty acid biosynthesis pathway is essential for H. pylori infection by retaining unsaturated fatty acid synthesis and producing superoxide (ROS). A small molecule FBX‐1991 that specifically targets FabX to inhibit H.
