A note on polyexponential and unipoly Bernoulli polynomials of the second kind
In this paper, the authors study the poly-Bernoulli numbers of the second kind, which are defined by using polyexponential functions introduced by Kims. Also by using unipoly function, we study the unipoly Bernoulli numbers of the second kind, which are ...

This article discusses the existence of positive solutions for the system of second-order ordinary differential equation boundary value problems −u″(t)=f(t,u(t),v(t),u′(t)),t∈[0,1],−v″(t)=g(t,u(t),v(t),v′(t)),t∈[0,1],u(0)=u(1)=0,v(0)=v(1)=0,\left\{\begin{

Background – Equine sarcoids are the most prevalent skin neoplasm in horses worldwide. Although several treatments are available, none are consistently effective and recurrence is common. Objectives – To evaluate the efficacy and safety of topical imiquimod 5% cream and Sanguinaria canadensis + zinc chloride for treatment of equine sarcoids and ...

Relative effects of breastfeeding intention and practice on maternal responsiveness
ABSTRACT Our objective was to examine the differential effects of antenatal breastfeeding intention (BI) and breastfeeding practice (BP) on maternal postnatal responsiveness. We conducted a secondary analysis of longitudinal data from a subsample of 962 mother–infant dyads from a U.K.‐based birth cohort study the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and ...

A Hypothetical‐Mathematical Model of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia Pathogenesis
Acute myeloid leukaemia is defined by the expansion of a mutated haematopoietic stem cell clone, with the inhibition of surrounding normal clones. Haematopoiesis can be seen as an evolutionary tree, starting with one cell that undergoes several divisions during the expansion phase, afterwards losing functional cells during the aging‐related contraction

Mathematical Model Creation for Cancer Chemo‐Immunotherapy
One of the most challenging tasks in constructing a mathematical model of cancer treatment is the calculation of biological parameters from empirical data. This task becomes increasingly difficult if a model involves several cell populations and treatment modalities.

Exact solutions for the ion sound Langmuir wave model by using two novel analytical methods
In the present paper, the system of equations for the ion sound and Langmuir waves (SEISLWs) is considered to obtain the new solitary wave solutions of the non-linear evolution equations. Here, we used the relatively two new analytical methods to achieve

Interleukin‐11 (IL‐11) is a pleiotropic thrombopoietic cytokine and immune modulator, clinically approved for alleviation of chemotherapy‐induced thrombocytopenia in non‐myeloid malignancies. IL‐11 therapy exerts fluid accumulation‐associated adverse effects, complicating its administration and limiting its use.
