A paradox in Hele-Shaw displacements

Annali dell?Università di Ferrara, 2018
We study the Hele-Shaw immiscible displacements when all surfaces tensions on the interfaces are zero. The Saffman-Taylor instability occurs when a less viscous fluid is displacing a more viscous one, in a rectangular Hele-Shaw cell.

On the Boundedness of Solutions of a Non-autonomous Differential Equation of Second Order

Sarajevo Journal of Mathematics
We study the boundedness of the solutions to a non-autonomous differential equation of second order. With this work, we improve some stability results in the literature of boundedness of the solutions.

Delay Induced Hopf Bifurcation in a Nonlinear Innovation Diffusion Model: External Influences Effect

East Asian Journal on Applied Mathematics, 2018
A nonlinear innovation diffusion model which incorporates the evaluation stage (time delay) is proposed to describe the dynamics of three population classes for non-adopter and adopter densities.

New results on asymptotic stability of time-varying nonlinear systems with applications

Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai. Mathematica
. In this paper, we present a converse Lyapunov theorem for the new notion of global generalized practical uniform h-stability of nonlinear systems of differential equations.

Modelling the Impact of Vaccination and Screening on the Dynamics of Human Papillomavirus Infection

, 2014
While human papillomavirus has been a recognized disease for a long time, the control of outbreaks remains a challenge. The aim of this study is to investigate the role of screening and vaccination as control strategies in curtailing the spread of the ...

A Criterion for the Unique Existence of the Limit Cycle of a Lienard-Type System with One Parameter

, 2019
A criterion for the unique existence of limit cycles of a Liénard-type system with one parameter is investigated. Our idea is to estimate the solution orbit starting from the initial point on some invariant domain.

Dynamical Study of an SIQR Model with Saturated Incidence Rate

, 2016
In the present paper, we proposed and analyzed an SIQR compartment model. Determine the steady state of the model and Stability analysis is carried out.
