Measles is a highly communicable viral infection that mostly affects children aged 5 years and below. Maternal antibodies in neonates help protect them from infectious diseases, including measles. However, maternal antibodies disappear a few months after

Cluster formation for multi-strain infections with cross-immunity [PDF]
Many infectious diseases exist in several pathogenic variants, or strains, which interact via cross-immunity. It is observed that strains tend to self-organise into groups, or clusters.

Dynamical analysis of a Lotka Volterra commensalism model with additive Allee effect
We propose and analyze a Lotka-Volterra commensal model with an additive Allee effect in this article. First, we study the existence and local stability of possible equilibria.

Loop delays appear obviously in several control applications. Due to loop delays, more complications arrive in feedback control systems. Loop delays cannot be avoided in a system controlled via communication networks as it decreases the stability of the ...

Gene Content and Distribution in the Nuclear Genome of Fragaria vesca
Thirty fosmids were randomly selected from a library of Fragaria vesca subsp. americana (cv. Pawtuckaway) DNA. These fosmid clones were individually sheared, and ∼4‐ to 5‐kb fragments were subcloned. Subclones on a single 384‐well plate were sequenced bidirectionally for each fosmid. Assembly of these data yielded 12 fosmid inserts completely sequenced,

Within-host models of dengue virus transmission with immune response
Dengue fever is an infectious viral fever. The complex behavior of the virus within the body can be explained through mathematical models to understand the virus’s dynamics.

Inverse problems for self-adjoint Dirac systems: explicit solutions and stability of the procedure [PDF]
A procedure to recover explicitly self-adjoint matrix Dirac systems on semi-axis (with both discrete and continuous components of spectrum) from rational Weyl functions is considered. Its stability is proved.

Lyapunov stability solutions of fractional integrodifferential equations
Lyapunov stability and asymptotic stability conditions for the solutions of the fractional integrodiffrential equations x(α)(t)=f(t,x(t))+∫t0tk(t,s,x(s))ds, 0 < α ≤ 1, with the initial condition x(α−1)(t0) = x0, have been investigated. Our methods are applications of Gronwall′s lemma and Schwartz inequality.

Global periodic solutions in a plankton-fish interaction model with toxication delay
In this paper, a plankton-fish interaction model is proposed and analyzed with the help of delay differential equations. Firstly, the elementary dynamical properties of the system in the absence of time delay is discussed.
