ℋ∞ constant gain state feedback stabilization of stochastic hybrid systems with Wiener process

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2004, Issue 4, Page 333-345, 2004., 2004
This paper considers the stabilization problem of the class of continuous‐time linear stochastic hybrid systems with Wiener process. The ℋ∞ state feedback stabilization problem is treated. A state feedback controller with constant gain that does not require access to the system mode is designed.

Almost periodic solution of a discrete competitive system with delays and feedback controls

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2019
A discrete nonlinear almost periodic multispecies competitive system with delays and feedback controls is proposed and investigated. We obtain sufficient conditions to ensure the permanence of the system.

Exponentially dissipative nonlinear dynamical systems: a nonlinear extension of strict positive realness

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2003, Issue 1, Page 25-45, 2003., 2003
We extend the notion of dissipative dynamical systems to formalize the concept of the nonlinear analog of strict positive realness and strict bounded realness. In particular, using exponentially weighted system storage functions with appropriate exponentially weighted supply rates, we introduce the concept of exponential dissipativity.

Global periodic solutions in a plankton-fish interaction model with toxication delay

open access: yesNonlinear Engineering, 2018
In this paper, a plankton-fish interaction model is proposed and analyzed with the help of delay differential equations. Firstly, the elementary dynamical properties of the system in the absence of time delay is discussed.

Within-host models of dengue virus transmission with immune response

open access: yesComputational and Mathematical Biophysics, 2023
Dengue fever is an infectious viral fever. The complex behavior of the virus within the body can be explained through mathematical models to understand the virus’s dynamics.

Stability and stabilizability of dynamical systems with multiple time‐varying delays: delay‐dependent criteria

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2003, Issue 4, Page 137-152, 2003., 2003
This paper deals with the class of uncertain systems with multiple time delays. The stability and stabilizability of this class of systems are considered. Their robustness are also studied when the norm‐bounded uncertainties are considered. Linear matrix inequality (LMIs) delay‐dependent sufficient conditions for both stability and stabilizability and ...

Global analysis and control for a vector-borne epidemic model with multi-edge infection on complex networks

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2023
In this study, a vector-borne epidemic model with multi-edge infection on complex networks is built. Using the method of next-generation matrix, the basic reproduction number R0{R}_{0} is calculated, and if R01{R}_{0}\gt 1, there exists a unique endemic ...

On eventual stability of impulsive systems of differential equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 27, Issue 8, Page 485-494, 2001., 2001
The notions of Lipschitz stability of impulsive systems of differential equations are extended and the notions of eventual stability are introduced. New notions called eventual and eventual Lipschitz stability. We give some criteria and results.

Dynamical analysis of a Lotka Volterra commensalism model with additive Allee effect

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2022
We propose and analyze a Lotka-Volterra commensal model with an additive Allee effect in this article. First, we study the existence and local stability of possible equilibria.

Stable dynamics in forced systems with sufficiently high/low forcing frequency [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We consider a class of parametrically forced Hamiltonian systems with one-and-a-half degrees of freedom and study the stability of the dynamics when the frequency of the forcing is relatively high or low.
