The strict stability of dynamic systems on time scales
The strict stability of dynamic systems on time scales is examined with sufficient conditions. Results analogous to Lyapunov′s theorems ae proved and discussed using a comparison principle.

Effect of Vaccination to COVID-19 Disease Progression and Herd Immunity
A mathematical model of COVID-19 with a delay-term for the vaccinated compartment is developed. It has parameters accounting for vaccine-induced immunity delay, vaccine effectiveness, vaccination rate, and vaccine-induced immunity duration.

The present work is devoted to the study of stability of the zero solution to linear impulsive differential‐difference equations with variable impulsive perturbations. With the aid of piecewise continuous auxiliary functions, which are generalizations of the classical Lyapunov′s functions, sufficient conditions are found for the uniform stability and ...

Generalized stability of motion of impulsive Lurie‐Postnikov systems with structural perturbation
This paper investigates the absolute stability on ℊs of the zero solution of Lurie‐Postnikov systems with impulses and structural perturbation. A number of absolutely stable on ℊs theorems of the Lyapunov type for Lurie‐Postnikov systems are proved, extending and generalizing previous work on the subject.

Stability properties of a Cournot-type oligopoly model with time delay
The paper studies a Cournot game involving n private firms, where the firms’ interactions are analyzed in a discrete-time setting with time delay. The past production levels of other private firms have an impact on the production levels of each private ...

Lyapunov theorems for Banach spaces
We present a spectral mapping theorem for semigroups on any Banach space $E$. From this, we obtain a characterization of exponential dichotomy for nonautonomous differential equations for $E$-valued functions.

On the dynamics of a class of multi-group models for vector-borne diseases [PDF]
The resurgence of vector-borne diseases is an increasing public health concern, and there is a need for a better understanding of their dynamics. For a number of diseases, e.g.

New approach to asymptotic stability: time‐varying nonlinear systems
The results of the paper concern a broad family of time‐varying nonlinear systems with differentiable motions. The solutions are established in a form of the necessary and sufficient conditions for: 1) uniform asymptotic stability of the zero state, 2) for an exact single construction of a system Lyapunov function and 3) for an accurate single ...

Generalized practical stability results by perturbing Lyapunov functions
It is known that practical stability is neither stronger nor weaker than Lyapunov stability. In this paper we combine perturbing Lyapunov technique with stability in terms of two measures to obtain nonuniform practical stability results under weaker assumptions. We also use comparison methods to obtain these results.
