Flow Solutions of Transport Equations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Under general assumptions on the velocity field, it is possible to construct a flow that is forward untangled. Once such a flow has been selected, the associated transport problem is well-posed.

Existence and uniqueness of a density probability solution for the stationary Doi-Edwards equation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
We prove the existence, uniqueness and non negativity of solutions for a nonlinear stationary Doi-Edwards equation. The existence is proved by a perturbation argument. We get the uniqueness and the non negativity by showing the convergence in time of the solution of the evolutionary Doi-Edwards equation towards any stationary solution.

Backward uniqueness for general parabolic operators in the whole space [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
We prove the backward uniqueness for general parabolic operators of second order in the whole space under assumptions that the leading coefficients of the operator are Lipschitz and their gradients satisfy certain decay conditions. This result extends in some ways a classical result of Lions and Malgrange [12] and a recent result of the authors [10].

Uniqueness for the Schrödinger Equation on Graphs with Potential Vanishing at Infinity [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We investigate the uniqueness, in suitable weighted $\ell^p$ spaces, of solutions to the Schr\"odinger equation with a potential, posed on infinite graphs. The potential can tend to zero at infinite with a certain rate.

Non-uniqueness of Oberbeck-Boussinesq System with Gravitational Field [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We consider the Oberbeck-Boussinesq system with gravitational force on the whole space. We prove the non-uniqueness of the system applying the unstable profile of Navier-Stokes equation.
