Unique continuation through transversal characteristic hypersurfaces [PDF]
arXiv, 2016 We prove a unique continuation result for an ill-posed characteristic problem. A model problem of this type occurs in A.D.~Ionescu \& S.~Klainerman article (Theorem 1.1 in \cite{MR2470908}) and we extend their model-result using only geometric assumptions. The main tools are Carleman estimates and H\"ormander's pseudo-convexity conditions.

The gyrokinetic limit for the Vlasov-Poisson system with a point charge [PDF]
arXiv, 2017 We consider the asymptotics of large external magnetic field for a 2D Vlasov-Poisson system governing the evolution of a bounded density interacting with a point charge. In a suitable asymptotical regime, we show that the solution converges to a measure-valued solution of the Euler equation with a defect measure.

Parabolic equations with measurable coefficients in $L_p$-spaces with mixed norms [PDF]
arXiv, 2007 The unique solvability of parabolic equations in Sobolev spaces with mixed norms is presented. The second order coefficients (except $a^{11}$) are assumed to be only measurable in time and one spatial variable, and VMO in the other spatial variables. The coefficient $a^{11}$ is measurable in one spatial variable and VMO in the other variables.
