Existence results for double-phase problems via Morse theory [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
We obtain nontrivial solutions for a class of double-phase problems using Morse theory. In the absence of a direct sum decomposition, we use a cohomological local splitting to get an estimate of the critical groups at zero.

Uniqueness of solutions to singular p-Laplacian equations with subcritical nonlinearity

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2017
We present a geometric approach to the study of quasilinear elliptic p-Laplacian problems on a ball in ℝn${\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ using techniques from dynamical systems.

Multiple solutions for a fractional $p$-Laplacian equation with sign-changing potential

open access: yes, 2016
We use a variant of the fountain Theorem to prove the existence of infinitely many weak solutions for the following fractional p-Laplace equation (-\Delta)^{s}_{p}u+V(x)|u|^{p-2}u=f(x,u) in R^N, where $s \in (0,1)$,$ p \geq 2$,$ N \geq 2$, $(-\Delta)^{s ...

Boundary Regularity for p-Harmonic Functions and Solutions of Obstacle Problems on Unbounded Sets in Metric Spaces

open access: yesAnalysis and Geometry in Metric Spaces, 2019
The theory of boundary regularity for p-harmonic functions is extended to unbounded open sets in complete metric spaces with a doubling measure supporting a p-Poincaré inequality, 1 < p < ∞.

A class of semipositone p-Laplacian problems with a critical growth reaction term

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2019
We prove the existence of ground state positive solutions for a class of semipositone p-Laplacian problems with a critical growth reaction term. The proofs are established by obtaining crucial uniform C1,α a priori estimates and by concentration ...

Existence and regularity for a p-Laplacian problem in ℝN with singular, convective, and critical reaction

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
We prove an existence result for a p-Laplacian problem set in the whole Euclidean space and exhibiting a critical term perturbed by a singular, convective reaction.

The fundamental solution of nonlinear equations with natural growth terms [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2010
We find bilateral global bounds for the fundamental solutions associated with some quasilinear and fully nonlinear operators perturbed by a nonnegative zero order term with natural growth. In addition, we consider the Sobolev regularity of the fundamental solution away from its pole.
