Revealing the True Nature of Double‐Peak Emission in 2D Perovskite Single Crystals Using Polariton Waveguides

Engineering structural distortion in Dion–Jacobson perovskites allows control over optical properties and electronic band structure, unveiling new structure‐property insights. Crystal microwires act as waveguides with strong light‐matter coupling, explaining the double peak emission.

Co‐Solvent‐Aided Opto‐Thermophoretic Printing of Gold Nanorod Assemblies

A focused laser beam creates a thermal gradient, driving the gold nanorods and polymer coils toward the heated region of the glass substrate, i.e, the laser spot. After the adsorption of the polymer on the gold surface, the nanorods start to assemble onto the surface in a ring‐shaped pattern that grows radially until the beam is turned off.

Pressure‐Induced Structural and Optoelectronic Modulations in 2D Dion‐Jacobson Hybrid Lead Iodide Perovskites With a Rigid Spacer

Compression to ≈2.0 GPa results in a non‐monotonic enhancement of the Pb‐I bond distortion, rarely observed in other 2D lead‐iodide hybrid perovskites. The octahedral distortion together with the rigidity of spacer cation are found to play a dominant role in determining the optoelectronic properties of DPDAPbI4 under high pressure.
