Wood and fibre properties of fertilized Norway spruce [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Very intensive forest management is relatively unexplored in Sweden, and while there is interest in pursuing e.g. the use of fertilizers on selected areas, there is concern about the quality of the wood when growth rate increases.

Multidimensional OMICs reveal ARID1A orchestrated control of DNA damage, splicing, and cell cycle in normal‐like and malignant urothelial cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the frequently mutated chromatin remodeler ARID1A, a subunit of the SWI/SNF cBAF complex, results in less open chromatin, alternative splicing, and the failure to stop cells from progressing through the cell cycle after DNA damage in bladder (cancer) cells. Created in BioRender. Epigenetic regulators, such as the SWI/SNF complex, with important

Tonic signaling of the B‐cell antigen‐specific receptor is a common functional hallmark in chronic lymphocytic leukemia cell phosphoproteomes at early disease stages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
B‐cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B‐CLL) and monoclonal B‐cell lymphocytosis (MBL) show altered proteomes and phosphoproteomes, analyzed using mass spectrometry, protein microarrays, and western blotting. Identifying 2970 proteins and 316 phosphoproteins, including 55 novel phosphopeptides, we reveal BCR and NF‐kβ/STAT3 signaling in disease ...

Perceptual Quality Assessment of 360$^\circ$ Images Based on Generative Scanpath Representation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
Despite substantial efforts dedicated to the design of heuristic models for omnidirectional (i.e., 360$^\circ$) image quality assessment (OIQA), a conspicuous gap remains due to the lack of consideration for the diversity of viewing behaviors that leads to the varying perceptual quality of 360$^\circ$ images.

Developing reference plans for evaluating global clinical trials credentialing and PSQA systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose To develop a practical framework for creating a diverse set of validated reference plans (varying in complexity) and implement a workflow to introduce beam modeling, calibration, and delivery errors into the reference cohort to test and compare various dosimetry audit methodologies.

Visual Question Answering on 360° Images [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
In this work, we introduce VQA 360, a novel task of visual question answering on 360 images. Unlike a normal field-of-view image, a 360 image captures the entire visual content around the optical center of a camera, demanding more sophisticated spatial understanding and reasoning.

360Loc: A Dataset and Benchmark for Omnidirectional Visual Localization with Cross-device Queries [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
Portable 360$^\circ$ cameras are becoming a cheap and efficient tool to establish large visual databases. By capturing omnidirectional views of a scene, these cameras could expedite building environment models that are essential for visual localization. However, such an advantage is often overlooked due to the lack of valuable datasets.
