Vapor–Liquid Equilibria of Nitrogen + Diethyl Ether and Nitrogen + 1,1,1,2,2,4,5,5,5-Nonafluoro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-3-pentanone by Experiment, Peng–Robinson and PC-SAFT Equations of State [PDF]
The saturated liquid line of the systems nitrogen (N2) + diethyl ether and N2 + 1,1,1,2,2,4,5,5,5-nonafluoro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-3-pentanone (Novec 649) is measured along three isotherms, that is, 390, 420, and 450 K and 360, 390, and 420 K, respectively.

Images for a Binary Gravitational Lens from a Single Real Algebraic Equation [PDF]
It is shown that the lens equation for a binary gravitational lens being a set of two coupled real fifth-order algebraic equations (equivalent to a single complex equation of the same order) can be reduced to a single real fifth-order algebraic equation, which provides a much simpler way to study lensing by binary objects.

Subtracting the photon noise bias from single-mode optical interferometer visibilities [PDF]
I present in this paper a method to subtract the bias due to source photon noise from visibilities measured with a single-mode optical interferometer. Properties of the processed noise are demonstrated and examples of subtraction on real data are presented.

Local density of states induced by anisotropic impurity scattering in a d-wave superconductor [PDF]
We study a single impurity effect on the local density of states in a d-wave superconductor accounting for the momentum-dependent impurity potential. We show that the anisotropy of the scattering potential can alter significantly the spatial dependence of the quasiparticle density of states in the vicinity of the impurity.
