The space of monodromy data for the Jimbo-Sakai family of $q$-difference equations [PDF]
We formulate a geometric Riemann-Hilbert correspondence that applies to the derivation by Jimbo and Sakai of equation $q$-PVI from ``isomonodromy'' conditions. This is a step within work in progress towards the application of $q$-isomonodromy and $q$-isoStokes to $q$-Painlev\'e.

A series of spectral gaps for the almost Mathieu operator with a small coupling constant [PDF]
For the almost Mathieu operator with a small coupling constant, for a series of spectral gaps, we describe the asymptotic locations of the gaps and get lower bounds for their lengths. The results are obtained by analysing a monodromy matrix.

An exact renormalization formula for the Maryland model [PDF]
We discuss the difference Schr\"odinger equation $\psi_{k+1}+\psi_{k-1}+\lambda \cot(\pi\omega k+\theta)\psi_k=E\psi_k$, $k\in\mathbb{Z}$, where $\lambda$, $\omega$, $\theta$ and $E$ are parameters. We obtain explicit renormalization formulas relating its solutions for large $|k|$ to solutions of the equation with new parameters $\lambda$, $\omega ...

It has been unknown whether Hirota's discrete Korteweg-de Vries equation and the lattice sine-Gordon equation have the consistency around a cube (CAC) property. In this paper, we show that they have the CAC property.

This study is devoted to exploring the existence and the precise form of finite-order transcendental entire solutions of second-order trinomial partial differential-difference equations L(f)2+2hL(f)f(z1+c1,z2+c2)+f(z1+c1,z2+c2)2=eg(z1,z2)L{(f)}^{2}+2hL(f)

Generations of solvable discrete-time dynamical systems [PDF]
A technique is introduced which allows to generate -- starting from any solvable discrete-time dynamical system involving N time-dependent variables -- new, generally nonlinear, generations of discrete-time dynamical systems, also involving N time-dependent variables and being as well solvable by algebraic operations (essentially by finding the N zeros
