Long‐Term Outcomes of Radiofrequency Atrioventricular Node Ablation in a Real‐World Population

open access: yesPacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background While interventional strategies have expanded the options for long term rhythm restoration, rate control continues to play a pivotal role in the treatment of atrial arrhythmias; however, pharmacologic strategies alone often fail in achieving effective rate control.

CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT IN LOCALLY AND LOCALLY-ADVANCED PROSTATE CANCER USING CONFORMAL RADIOTHERAPY

open access: yesSovremennye Issledovaniâ Socialʹnyh Problem, 2013
The combination of androgen deprivation and radiotherapy increase the probability of diseases full regresses and survival rate. Modern technical and technological opportunities of 3D CRT allow to increase total dose to prostate up to 72-76Gy vs ...

Left Ventricular wall Thickness and Decrement Evoked Potentials in Ablation of Ischemic Ventricular Tachycardia

open access: yesPacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Preprocedural imaging can improve the success rate of ventricular tachycardia (VT) ablation. Left ventricular wall thickness (LVWT) measured by cardiac computed tomography (CT) can be used to identify infarct regions. We sought to determine whether an association exists between left ventricular wall thickness (LVWT) as obtained ...

The C2H2‐GGAT Regulatory Module Fine‐Tunes Glutamate Homeostasis to Improve Fruit Flavour and Enhance Disease Resistance in Peach

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Free amino acids (FAAs) play a fundamental role in determining fruit quality and stress adaptation, yet their genetic regulation remains poorly understood. Through an integrated approach combining metabolomic and sensory analyses of 120 peach (Prunus persica) hybrids, we identified glutamate as a key metabolite linking FAA content to umami ...

Longitudinal Costs of Image-Guided Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy Versus Three-Dimensional Conformal Radiation: Lessons From Phase III PARCER Trial for Shaping Resource-Stratified Guidelines in Low- and Middle-Income Countries

open access: yesJCO Global Oncology
PURPOSEThe PARCER trial provided level I evidence for image-guided intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IG-IMRT) in patients with cervical cancer. Further information regarding long-term financial impact is imperative for adoption into the National ...

Identifying How District Science Coordinators Leverage Their Capital to Monitor and Promote Equity

open access: yesSchool Science and Mathematics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Promoting equity in science education is required to address persistent inequities, and the implementation of three‐dimensional (3D) science instruction is a small step toward this goal. District science coordinators (DSCs) utilize cultural, social, and economic capital to support K‐12 teachers in standards‐based reform efforts, including the ...

Th17 cells favor migration and invasiveness of cervical cancer cells under hypoxia in an IGF2BP2‐dependent manner

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 158, Issue 11, Page 3021-3037, 1 June 2026.
What's new? Hypoxic regions and inflammatory Th17 cells in the tumor environment are both associated with poor prognosis in cervical cancer. However, synergistic mechanisms between hypoxia and Th17 cells remain elusive. This study demonstrated Th17–hypoxia‐driven mechanisms underlying cervical cancer progression.
