3d-3d correspondence revisited [PDF]
In fivebrane compactifications on 3-manifolds, we point out the importance of all flat connections in the proper definition of the effective 3d N=2 theory. The Lagrangians of some theories with the desired properties can be constructed with the help of homological knot invariants that categorify colored Jones polynomials.

AbstractWe find and propose an explanation for a large variety of modularity-related symmetries in problems of 3-manifold topology and physics of 3d$$ \mathcal{N} $$N= 2 theories where such structuresa prioriare not manifest. These modular structures include: mock modular forms, SL(2,ℤ) Weil representations, quantum modular forms, non-semisimple ...

Instruct 3D-to-3D: Text Instruction Guided 3D-to-3D conversion
We propose a high-quality 3D-to-3D conversion method, Instruct 3D-to-3D. Our method is designed for a novel task, which is to convert a given 3D scene to another scene according to text instructions. Instruct 3D-to-3D applies pretrained Image-to-Image diffusion models for 3D-to-3D conversion.

Time-sequential Pipelined Imaging with Wavefront Coding and Super Resolution [PDF]
Wavefront coding has long offered the prospect of mitigating optical aberrations and extended depth of field, but image quality and noise performance are inevitably reduced. We report on progress in the use of agile encoding and pipelined fusion of image

3D printing [or Additive Manufacturing (AM)] allows the construction of three-dimensional objects on demand. 3D printing technologies is now widely used in healthcare, aerospace, design, and the automotive industry. Additive Manufacturing (AM) had first been launched over three decades ago as Charles Hull's first introduced the SLA (Stereolithography ...

An Introduction to 3D User Interface Design [PDF]
3D user interface design is a critical component of any virtual environment (VE) application. In this paper, we present a broad overview of three-dimensional (3D) interaction and user interfaces.

On the Importance of 3D Surface Information for Remote Sensing Classification Tasks
There has been a surge in remote sensing machine learning applications that operate on data from active or passive sensors as well as multi-sensor combinations (Ma et al. (2019)). Despite this surge, however, there has been relatively little study on the
