Numerical Simulation of 3D Dynamic Garment Pressure
Textile Research Journal, 2002This paper presents a mechanical model for numerical simulations of 3D dynamic garment pressure during wear using a finite element method. Based on analyzing the contact characteristics between the human body and the garment, a mechanical model is developed based on the theory of dynamic contact mechanics.

Describing and Simulating 3D Model of Garment by Scanning Technology
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2010Body-scanning technology is the most up-to-date technology for achieving the body information. It helps to set up the database of body sizes and some research for very close type of garment. In this article we discuss a new method for describing the 3D shape of garment and set up its mathematic model for simulation, which is by dint of body scanning ...

Simulating 3D winter clothing towards online garment demonstration
2011 International Conference on Computer Science and Service System (CSSS), 2011In this paper, we propose a new method in simulating the thick and bulky effect of winter clothing. The major implementation context for this approach is targeted at the online garment demonstration where the 3D appearance is of the priority. To enhance the fidelity of simulation, the photo of the real article is taken as the original pattern for ...
